4 Malaysian Stores Selling Reusable Masks

We're not just talking about those fancy designs and cute patterned ones, but those who are contributing back to the community from the profits. Let's support these Malaysian stores with a cause!

Surya Bags

Surya Bags came up with a project to support the refugee community who had lost their jobs and could not afford to support their families with essentials. They pay Myanmar refugees in return for handmade washable face masks. The profits made by Surya Bags were contributed back to the community like delivering food to families in need.The masks come in sizes for children and adults which costs RM15 each! Order a minimum of two face masks from them through their Facebook page now! 

Young Women's Christian Association of KL (YWCA)

YWCA is a non-governmental organisation which is selling handmade masks sewn by women from the B40 group. This project was started as an initiative to provide opportunities and training for students from the Vocational Training Opportunity Centre (VTOC), which are underprivileged young women and have then started to reach out to other women NGOs. The masks cost RM15 for 1 and RM36 if you purchase 3! Check out their various designs on their Facebook!

Cuci Ceria Project

Cucu Ceria Project was started by Geutanyoe Foundation and Rohingya Kasih Centre that serves a purpose to support refugees and local women in the B40 group. All profits go entirely into paying the women who are sewing the face masks and to also sponsor families in need with hygiene kits. A mask will cost you RM10! Changgih Designs

Changgih Designs is a social enterprise that strives to provide job opportunities for mothers living in Sabah villages. 10% of their proceeds will go to community-building progammes!
