Equipment You'll Need For a Home Workout

We don't always have the time or money to head to local gyms or classes to maintain our health and weight. So what better way than spend a couple of bucks on home equipment to get your workout done in the comfort of your own home?
Skipping Rope
For a quick an easy way to get your cardio in without buying a huge treadmill that will not be able to fit in your space, try getting a simple skipping rope! It helps you get your heart rate up and sweat out when you need to. Do reps of 30 for 3 sets if you've not jumped rope very often to get yourself used to it and warmed up.
Dumbbells
You don't need to get a rack of dumbbells, just a couple that you would be able to lift and workout with. All sorts of exercises can be done at home with just dumbbells, working out your biceps, triceps, and even the back. Workout videos with dumbbells could be found on Youtube, but definitely be careful on your workout form to avoid getting injuries!
Yoga Mat
For any workouts that require you to lie on the floor or use your knees, do get a yoga mat that is thick enough to support your back or knees! Most workouts related to using a yoga mat would be abdominal workouts, thighs, or even the shoulders.
Pull Up Bar
Pull up bars are not necessary, but they are so convenient that they don't take up much space in the house. You could just install one within your door frame and take it down whenever you think it's in the way. You'll be able to work on your upper body strength like biceps, shoulders, and back.
Kettlebell
Kettlebell could be replaced with dumbbells but they are more equipped for certain workouts like lunges, squats, and kettlebell swings! You could go hardcore and do explosive workouts with this equipment or just do light workouts to sweat a little.
