Food Hacks You Should Know
Sometimes we get a little lazy to cook or prepare food, especially when it's time consuming and a little bit frustrating. Here are a couple of simple food hacks you could use in the kitchen!
Boiled egg shells can get really annoying to peel, but little did you know that week old eggs are actually perfectly fine to peel! Buy the eggs in advance and let them sit in the fridge before you boil them. Another tip is to boil the eggs with a little salt in the water and use a spoon to crack one end of the egg to start peeling it from the inside with the same spoon.

To slice vegetables and fruits easier, use an egg slicer to chop them up evenly and quickly! Strawberries, kiwis, and mushrooms are fine examples that could be sliced up with the egg slicer.

When you're trying to bake something quick or a 1 person portion just for yourself, using this trick will be very handy! Take a mug and coat it with nonstick spray. You'll have to crack an egg and whisk it well and add in nut butter or nutella, depending on your personal taste. Microwave it for a minute and it'll be all done!

Most Asian cuisine includes ginger in them, so peeling ginger skin can be a pain in the butt most of the time. The trick is to use a metal spoon to scrape off the skin and see it flake off the ginger! Pretty neat trick!
