Goguma Latte, The New Dalgona

Do you remember Dalgona went popular on TikTok back in the first wave of MCO? We present to you the new hype, Goguma Latte! You can easily prepare this at home with just 3 simple ingredients! This new Korean latte made of sweet potato is very popular in the fall/ winter time in Korea with a subtle sweet and savory taste to it! While it is called "latte" it doesn't have a hint of coffee added to the drink, so anyone can enjoy this.

You'll need to prepare:

• 150 g of sweet potatoes 
• 1 cup of fresh milk
• Honey
• Cinnamon (optional)

Start by washing the sweet potato thoroughly and cut it in half. You'll want to lay out baking sheets on the tray and have the sweet potatoes facing up. Poke small holes on the potato with a fork. Continue to put the tray into an oven (180 – 190 C / 356 -374 F). Depending on the size of your sweet potato, it can range from 30-50 minutes.

After roasting the potato, scoop out the flesh with a small spoon and set it aside until needed. Add 150 g sweet potato, some honey, and a cup of fresh milk into the blender. Blend it until it's smooth! You can proceed to pouring it into a microwavable cup and microwave the latte for 1 minute.

Ta-Dah! You've got the option of adding cinnamon to top off your drink, but other than that enjoy the drink!
