In this dire situation, we should band together and support the local scene even more than before. The MCO was extended to the 14th of April and Malaysians are desperate to have a taste of their favourite local restaurants and stores. Well these are a couple of restaurants that are still available for delivery or pick up to satisfy you and your family! With the new announcement from the government, all eateries will open until 8pm for delivery and takeaway purposes.

They are currently offering delivery and pick up at their restaurant from 11am to 8pm. Waka Waka Gelato (Non-Halal)

Need your dessert fix? We're pleased to tell you that Waka Waka Gelato is still operating and doing deliveries for their yummy gelato! Certain flavours contain alcohol in them, only available upon request for events only. For same day delivery, do order before 1pm, otherwise all other orders are for next day delivery. They also opt for pick up, which are available only at certain hours. All you have to do is direct message them on their social media platforms and let them know the amount of tubs you would like, your address, and phone number. 

Red Kettle (Non-Halal)

Famous for their Portuguese tarts and also their scrumptious meals, Red Kettle is also joining the bandwagon to do deliveries and self pick up at their Taman Bukit Desa outlet only. For the time being, their branch at The Starling mall will be closed. For self collection, you'll need to complete an Order Form an hour before you head over to pick up your order. Orders will be confirmed after you've bank transferred your payment and gotten a confirmation message. As for the delivery, it will be for the next day after you've done the Order Form before 5pm! There will be delivery time slots for you to pick and do note that you'll have to send in a proof of instant bank transfer payment to get confirmation for your order.

The Butcher's Table (Non-Halal)

The Butcher's Table is now open from 11.30am to 8pm daily for their customers to order for delivery or takeaway! The non-Halal restaurant will continue to serve amazing meat dishes for you to enjoy at the comfort of your home, you'll be able to purchase their meat cold or hot with a preparation time of 30 minutes. To order, just call them up or leave a direct message on their social media. Do note that this is only available at their SS2 outlet for the time being. 

Strangers At 47 (Halal)

Strangers At 47 is no stranger to the brunch/ dessert crowd. Missing their crepes and brunch meals? Well they are currently working with Grab Food to make sure you get your fix! Customers can opt for delivery or even self pick up at their outlet at Section 17, Petaling Jaya. They are open from 10am to 7.30pm daily except for Tuesdays. Dao Desserts (Halal)

On days you crave more traditional Malaysian desserts like Taufoofa and Soya Bean, you can definitely get them at Dao Desserts! They currently do deliveries and also pick up at both their Subang Jaya and Damansara Jaya outlets. For pick ups, place your order via Beepit 15 minutes before arriving to collect your order. For delivery, you'll be able to find them on Grab Food. Dao Desserts did not change their operation time, which is 10pm to 8pm daily except for Wednesdays!

Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar (No Halal Certificate)

Missing your Japanese food fix? Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar got you covered! From sushi, bento boxes, and noodles, you'll be able to chow down at home with their Food Panda and Grab Food delivery service! You'll also be able to takeaway your orders at their Puchong outlet with strict instructions to follow in the restaurant to avoid close contact with any customers or workers. Open until 8pm.

Cincai Cafe (Halal)

Located at SS15 Subang Jaya, Cincai Cafe anything from Western to local Malaysian delights. They are currently available for delivery on Food Panda and Grab Food with no mark up prices! Not only that, they are open from 11am to 8pm daily to cater to the lunch and dinner crowd!
