1. Unrealistic expectations
In order to realize that there is a problem, we need to take a step back and understand ourselves as well. Exercising can be exciting at first, but sometimes we need to set an achievable goal instead of an unrealistic goal once we begin. This is because that when we try to achieve unrealistic goals such as losing 20KG in a month or gaining a six-pack in one month is not something ideal for ourselves, because in the long run, having unrealistic expectations will destroy our confidence in the gym. It is okay to have a long-term end goal, but the best way to see results and still be satisfied with your own self and your progress, you need to start setting short-term goals. Small milestones like these can go a long way as it would not only boost your confidence, but also motivate you to achieve newer goals every time you hit a milestone.

2. Doing cardio only
Miss Ryada understand that many of you have the mentality that "cardio is the best way to burn fats!", this is not necessary as there are other methods that you can pair together with your cardio workouts. If you want to obtain a well-rounded, satisfying results in a much faster pace, you need to work your whole body out. This includes different types of exercises that activates your muscles and your overall body strength. Exercises such as weight training or HIIT workouts helps you burn more calories than just cardio alone because muscle trainings or strength training can also help burn more calories as you grow your muscles and activate your body strength to do things you may not be able to do before.

3. Not counting calories
Sometimes it is easy to lose track on what we eat because there is so much things to consume on a daily basis, not to mention that this is the season of fasting and overeating can sometimes play a role. Not only that, but Raya holidays is just right around the corner. So, in order to avoid any unwanted weight gains, keep track on your daily caloric count to make sure that you would be on the right track. The best way to do this is to download calorie counter apps on your phone so that you can easily track down what you are eating and how much calories you will be putting into your body.

4.Binging on the weekends
It had been a long week filled with stress, you feel lethargic from trying to keep up with your workouts during the weekdays and sometimes you just want to let loose and 'take a chill pill' over the weekend. We sometimes lose ourselves in the pleasures of life and it is important to give yourself a break or a cheat meal once in a while, but with great freedom comes greater discipline. Avoid overeating, binging or snacking during the weekend because at the end of the day, if you want to see results, you need to put in the effort as well and be more discipline! Calories won't burn itself you know?

5. Not consistent enough
Your body is similar to learning or obtaining knowledge, in order to keep up, you need to be consistent enough to feed yourself with an active lifestyle so that your body would continue to be healthy and strong, and the lesser you do that, your body will slowly diminish and start to be weaker. It is easy to lose track on your schedule, but as long as you don't give up, as long as your workout regimes are consistent, as long as you are consistent, you will see results.
